Our goal is to provide excellent care in a pleasant and healing environment and your healthcare team is committed to ensuring that the care, treatment, and service you receive are of high quality. As a testament to our commitment to quality and patient safety, we voluntarily seek accreditation from The Joint Commission.
The Joint Commission is an independent, not-for-profit organization established more than 50 years ago to set the standards by which healthcare quality is measured in America and around the world. It is governed by a board that includes physicians, nurses, and consumers.To maintain and earn accreditation, organizations must have an extensive on-site review by the Joint Commission team to evaluate the organization's performance in areas that effect patient care.
Sarah Bush Lincoln Health System was surveyed in August 2019 receiving full accreditation status and is accredited for three years. Lincolnland Home Care, Lincolnland Hospice and Lincolnland Home Medical Equipment also received accreditation for three years. The Laboratory is surveyed every two years and received a two-year accreditation in October 2018.
The Joint Commission provides unscheduled inspections to determine if weare in compliance with standards that it sets for quality, patient safety, and the safety of the environment. We are required to advise you that you may also contact The Joint Commission or other hospital regulatory agencies to express concerns about your care. You may do this without contacting us.
