Award Recognizes Outstanding Tele-ICU Collaboration
Advanced ICU Care, Sarah Bush Lincoln’s partner in providing high-acuity telemedicine services to its Critical Care Unit (CCU), announced the selection of Sarah Bush Lincoln as a 2016 I SEE YOU CARE Award winner.
The award recognizes the outstanding collaboration between bedside care providers and Advanced ICU Care’s remote critical care teams that is vital to success of caring for people in the continuous care environment of an CCU. Sarah Bush Lincoln was one of only eight award recipients across more than 65 hospitals, with recognition given in four categories: hospital, administrator, doctor, and nurse. Sarah Bush Lincoln began partnering with Advanced ICU Care in February 2015.

It provides an extra set of eyes on our more critically ill patients and affords them specialists we will most likely never have on staff. Because of our partnership, fewer patients have been transferred to other hospitals for higher level care because its available right here. It not only helps our patients recover more quickly and comfortably, but helps their family members as well who don’t need to travel distances.”
