Don Sol Raises Money while Raising Breast Cancer Awareness

Don Sol Mexican Grill recently donated $1,264 to Sarah Bush Lincoln’s Regional Cancer Center after hosting its fifth “Piensa Rosa! Think Pink!” event in support of breast cancer awareness.Restaurant owners, Rene and Amanda Perdomo, raised money by donating 10 percent of sales on October 26 to help care for people who are fighting cancer. “This event is very near and dear to us because it gives us the opportunity to help people who are fighting cancer,” Amanda Perdomo said.The event was especially meaningful to Don Sol staff members because many have family members and friends who have suffered from cancer.In the past five years, Don Sol’s “Piensa Rosa! Think Pink!” eventhas generated $6,600 for the SBL Regional Cancer Center.
