Team Members of the Charleston, IL branch of Wells Fargo Advisors donated $1,000 to the Sarah Bush Lincoln Regional Cancer Center recently, in recognition of breast cancer awareness month in October.
Gary Swearingen, Branch Manager, said the staff was offered the opportunity to wear jeans to work each Friday in October, as well as t-shirts that read "strength, faith, hope and love" in exchange for a donation to the Regional Cancer Center.
"We truly appreciate the generosity of the staff of Wells Fargo Advisors, our neighbors just to the east of the Health Center and Regional Cancer Center," Amy Card, Director, Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Foundation, said. "Their decision to support the Regional Cancer Center is so appreciated, and their donation will certainly make a difference to our patients. We're grateful for their support."
