Let Sarah Bush Lincoln light up your holiday season by visiting the SBL campus to enjoy the annual Night of Lights.
Community members are invited to join SBL as it kicks off its holiday light display. Starting at 5 pm on Thursday, November 17, people can drive around the SBL campus through the light displays. People are invited to stop and get a photo in the Christmas ornament as well.
After the excursion, everyone can find warmth inside Entrance A, where free hot chocolate and cider are waiting. People can visit the SBL Gift Shop, visit with therapy dogs or meet Santa and Mrs. Claus. More photo opportunities await inside, where photo booths will be available courtesy of Grassy Creations. Inside activities will last until 7 pm.
SBL is excited to partner with Mattoon Lightworks and the Douglas Hart Nature Center for this year’s Night of Lights, and both will host special events during that evening.
Mattoon Lightworks offers a one-night-only opportunity to walk through its light display, and the Douglas Hart Nature Center will have cheerful characters handing out sweet treats as you drive through.
